When my soon to be daughter-in-law asked me to help with the flowers for her upcoming wedding last year we were fortunate to call Mary Erickson and Jill Thompson of Wing and a Prayer Floral. From our first meeting it was clear, they were experienced wedding florists and fun to work with.
We loved the idea of using local flowers and greens for our summer wedding, which happens to be Mary and Jill's specialty. One of my favorite memories of the wedding is Mary and Jill coming to my garden a few days before the ceremony to cut a few things. It's fun to look at the wedding pictures and see 'my garden' in the bouquets and centerpieces.
Mary and Jill enjoy their work and it shows, as we all gathered for the ceremony the flowers were stunning. They transformed an expansive outdoor setting into an intimate one, the personal wedding flowers were designed with each person in mind and the unique reception centerpieces were a big hit.

My daughter Emily's wedding was her dream [and mine] come true!
All the bride wanted was a 'pink' wedding, 'simple dress' and a 'tulip bouquet'.
With those key elements as a starting point, we brought numerous ideas to
Wing and a Prayer. Mary, Jill and Carol were amazing. They took our initial ideas and expanded on them, refined them and brought attention to detail to the entire day...with individual and creative touches at every turn! The best description is in the photos...truly an essay of detail, creativity, variety and talent.
